Fujitsu has launched successor of T900 tablet, the Lifebook T901. The T901, just like its predecessor comes with 13.3 inch screen packing 1280 x 768 pixel resolution and the second generation Intel Core i series processor – the i7 2620M that runs at 2.7 GHz clock speed and comes with 4MB L3 cache. Just like other Core i7 series processors, it supports Turbo boost technology that increases the clock speed to up to 3.4 GHz.
The tablet is powerful enough to handle full HD (1080p) video playback, thanks to much improved Intel HD 3000 GPU. If you are a gamer or use apps that require a lot of GPU power, Fujitsu will also be offering Nvidia 4200M GPU (much powerful than the one in Lenovo S205) that comes with 1GB VRAM. The Nvidia graphics processing unit supports Nvidia Optimus technology that tries to use the integrated Intel GPU most of the time, unless you are gaming or using an app that requires all that power. Other specs include 500GB (7200rpm) hard disk or the 256GB SSD (solid state drive) and Blu-ray drive (optional). Prices start at 1900 dollars.
