Onda A31 is an 8 inch tablet that retails at just 144 dollars in Chinese market. Before we proceed with its review, here is a rundown of its specs:
8 inch display, 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, IPS type, A31 quad core processor, Power VR SGX544 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, micro SD card slot, 802.11n Wi-Fi, VGA front camera and 5 MP rear camera. Here is how the package looks like.

The quad core All Winner A31 processor makes sure the tablet feels zippy all the time. The A31 got 13010 in the AnTuTu benchmark test which is almost 5x the performance that you used t get from Allwinner A10 processor. This is even higher than the Tegra 3 processor that got 10112. In one word – stellar performance.
The display is excellent and viewing angles are wide too. The only complaint we have is the fact the display is not retina. However, we cannot complain much given its super low price tag. Also check out Cube K8m review.
Browsing experience is great too, thanks to 2GB RAM and zippy processor. Pages load fast and scrolling is silky smooth. High definition content can be viewed without any jitters. You can even view 4K content on it.
Verdict – An amazing tablet at an a price that would not burn a hole in your pocket. You can read the actual Chinese review here.
