Is Macbook Air 11 able to run the most demanding game out there? Well, simply put, the answer is no. It would not be able to run it. I just tried running the Crysis 2 demo on it and immediately it told me that the Nvidia 320M graphics processing unit is not supported.

Normally, netbooks are very consumer-centric as they feature low power processor and almost no feature a business house might need. Dell Latitude 2120 is an exception though. Despite the huge price tag, Dell 2120 comes with the standard dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor, 320GB hard disk (7200rpm) and 2GB RAM. Graphics are handled by GMA 3150 graphics. While AMD APUs are getting popular with Acer and Asus, I am yet to see them being implemented in the Dell mini laptops. That said, the performance should be good enough for web browsing and office apps. Also, the apps load just a hair faster thank to the 7200 rpm hard disk drive. It can also play 720p videos just fine, thanks to the dual core processor. However, 1080p video playback was choppy.

Asus 1015B is an amazing little mini laptop that offers superb graphical abilities and battery life. In fact, it is one of the few netbooks out there with the new AMD Brazos platform. At the heart of the 1015B, you will find a APU (accelerated processing unit) that has integrated CPU and GPU packed in a 40 nanometer die.

Sony Vaio F has a great look and feel and has all the ingredients of a high end laptop. It includes a high resolution display, Blu ray and super powerful graphics under the hood. It is meant for those who want to replace their home entertainment center. The model I am talking about is the VPCF219FJ. It comes with a 16.4-inch 1080p display, Nvidia GeForce GT 540M GPU, Core i7-2630QM and nice, spacious keyboard.

Today, I bought myself an Asus Eee PC 1215B laptop and here is my mini review of it. The seller told me that it is a high performance netbook that comes with a CULV processor. After some research I found that it is the only mini laptop with 12.1 display that comes with AMD E-350 processor.
It has the latest AMD Fusion one that has both CPU and GPU on the same chip. 1215B is available in variety of colors but I went for the silver one as the only one the shop keeper had was in red which is not my choice of color.
The keyboard and touchpad are great, something that I did not expect from a netbook. Display is nice too, just too glossy for my taste. I am using a matte screen protector on my Macbook Air 13 and will be buying one for this Eee PC as well.
